Public Power
Public Power has a rich heritage that tells the story of municipal utilities giving back to their local economies to contribute to thriving communities. ECG is a proponent of the communities that maintain a local utility as an asset to their city.
In Georgia, there are three ways for a customer to get electricity: Georgia Power, an EMC, or a municipally-owned utility. The 51 Georgia communities that sell their own power help to create jobs and maintain ownership of a local asset. We are their advocates and are proud to provide service to make their utility the most productive and reliable that it can be.
